About Chevvai Dosham / Mangal Dosh
The Mangal Dosh (Sevvai Dosham) is a concept that is widely misinterpreted. If a person has this dosh, it is said that the person needs to marry only a manglik of the opposite sex. However this is not a proved theory. Mangal dosh as per many of the current generation astrologers potentially indicate the necessity for a late marriage, possibly after 30 years of age.
Mangal dosha is considered to be of strong effect, when it occurs from both Lagna and Rashi. If it occurs in any one, then it is considered to be of medium effect.
Note: It is also said that manglik effect gets cancelled if Mars is exalted or placed in its own sign. However cancellation may be applicable only when the dosh is not high.
It is also important to note that there are various remedies in the form of rituals being prescribed for Mangal dosh in Internet. However Astrograha does not recommend any such remedies and would suggest people practice Yoga and Meditation to keep their mind better balanced.
